Joey Barton Hero Thug

Football thug, QPR captain Joey Barton was someone I had little time for. A thug who has served time in prison and serial assaulter.

But he has gone up in my estimation. Tonight we watched a BBC documentary in which he spoke out, eloquently, about homosexuality in football. The only player willing to do so....

QPR midfielder Joey Barton says players must lead change in attitude towards homosexuality in football.

Joey Barton has offered support to homosexual footballers and blamed the attitudes of managers and players for the lack of openly gay footballers in Britain.

Les Beaux

Once again we have the beaux-parents visiting. Yesterday we took them to Cirque du Soleil (very few words, easy...). Not something that I myself would have chosen, but I have to admit, I was rather thrilled.

Besides, some of it was especially easy on the eye.

The Royal Albert Hall looked lovely inside. I think they rather liked it.

Today a trip to Spitalfields. They've only recently started Saturday trading - and today they have the Thursday antique market.

I'm constantly amazed when I look back at some of the "You might like also..." links postings. Where did it all come from? Since moving into the house I've blogged far less.

Is it because I am less interesting, less interested or blogging is less interesting? Something of each, perhaps.

But, I love looking back and using the blog as a diary. So, perhaps I will find myself coming back from time to time.

I feel reasonably well justified posting other people's words when I most feel my life is a musical. In fact I often do, and it's always good to hear when people pick up the references!

I Didn't Dig Deep, I Did Not Want To Know

So, well, it's 2012 for those who took until now to notice. As I have exclaimed before, "it's all too involved, Tilly".

And truthfully, it is. The boy, the boss and the Brazilian in BH just to mention a few. Is it all going to come crashing down soon? (Of course, don't assume I mean on me please).

In any event, I know what you're going to say. You're going to tell me:

"I knew before".

So be it.

Even if I have to tell best friend he can't stay over the Jubilee period because we have 5 Americans visiting. C'est la vie.
