Olympics 2012

Less than 4 weeks now until London 2012. Fantastic.

I have tickets for Men's 3m diving finals - so my hopes are on this other Brit diver, Chris Mears.

Bastille Dinner@LaCuisineCachée

Bastille Day

Saturday 14 July

Bastille day commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, itself held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789. The anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress-prison was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern nation, and of the reconciliation of all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution.

Zoom

I have a new Sony camera (Sony CyberShot HX200V), which I bought for its super zoom ability (30x optical).

I bought it with the Olympics in mind (well, I do have diving finals tickets - go figure!), and these are some quick pics to show just how great the zoom is!!
